Step 6: Sit for the NBCOT® Exam
This is a big step for all OTs! Right?! To finally get the approval to be eligible to sit for the national licensure exam is a dream coming true for many OTs. At this point, you have succeeded in all the previous steps, and now it’s time to sit for the exam.
Studying for the Exam
I cannot wait to reach this step and prepare for the exam. Here are few resources that many fellow OTs of mine recommended, I will definitely be using them when it’s time!

Textbooks
Textbooks provide great insights and will help you dig deeper to a new topic you are not familiar with.
Willard and Spackman’s book is a foundational and comprehensive book that covers many topics in the profession of occupational therapy. It can guide you through the main aspects that you will want to cover while studying for the exam.

Occupational Therapy Practice Framework: Domain and Process- Fourth Edition (OTPF-4).
The OTPF-4 Is an official document of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) that presents several constructors and content describing occupational therapy practice.
Online OT Blogs
Online blogs and OT communities usually offer studying strategies and hints for therapists who are preparing for the exam.
