Hi There!

My name is Sanaa Jawabreh. I graduated from Bethlehem University, Palestine in 2015 with a Bachelors of Science in Occupational Therapy. After that, I worked as a licensed occupational therapist in Jerusalem for nearly five years specializing in pediatrics. Then I moved to Florida in the United States at the beginning of 2020 and I was excited to work as an OT in this BIG country! However, the process of working for a foreign-trained OT in the United States is not easy and full of challenges. My passion in OT led me to continue my education, and now I am finishing my post-professional clinical doctorate degree in OT from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences.

After I learned about the many steps and challenges required to become a licensed OT in the United States, and talking to many OTs who went through or are going through this journey, I wanted to build this simple website to help foreign-trained OTs understand the challenges and requirements ahead of them in order to obtain the license and work successfully in the States. This website is your compass to the journey!
